A passionate believer in progressive alternative surfboard design, Stevie "2-Fins" Croft is a creative shaper with an open minded approach. 2-F honed his skills shaping under international labels including Beachbeat, Cord and Copper surfboards, working with influential shapers such as Chops Lascelles, Tyler Hatzikian, Malcolm Campbell and Bob Cooper. Having such diverse experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of surfboard design, from performance shortboards for the beachbeat team riders, to responsive stylish longboards for the empire free ride team. 2-F prides himself on his craftsmanship and quality, his boards are unique, distinctive and above all functional.

I'm kinda the new kid on the block, as I've been making boards full time now for about 3 years under the Royal label. However, I've been in the industry for longer and lucky to have been instructed by some truly legendary craftsmen. I take what I've learned and incorporate that into something new.
My boards all reflect the type of surfing that I enjoy, which is in some way neo-traditional. Heavy single fin logs, wacked out quad and twin fin eggs, twinzer fish, and greased soap style stubbies. Maximized for down the line flow, full rail turns, and grins that make the police wonder what you've been up to.

I enjoy building what I enjoy riding which pretty much means I’m shaping & sliding anything and everything. My shapes are 100% handmade. I’ve been shaping for 12 years now, and under the Fluid Concept label for 9. I’ve been working with eps/epoxy since 2000 and this year 2009 sees the launch of my 2nd gen parabolic epoxies which brings about one of the most durable boards on the planet. You can check me riding a range of my boards on Ollie Banks’ 900 miles. I’m also a free-rider for Empire surfboards - and favour diversity over specialisation.

Honed his skills working alongside such greats as Graeme Bunt, Nick Williams, J.P. Bro Diplock, Dr. Warrick Collins (aquadynamics and transglobal racing yacht designer) amongst many others.
Shaping under the 'Huey brand' Chris set out on a long adventure of love, travel, waves and empty pockets, Chris has built boards for Gordon and Smith, Local Hero, Rusty, Boardwalk and Fistral Surf Co, Archipeligo (Jersey), aswell as for South African distributors and a national advertising campaign for British Rail.
Ghost was born in 2004 in Scarborough where he now lives. Chris has surfed since the late eighties and has continued skateboarding since the late seventies.
