| This is a shot of the remainder of the swell that came just after the May bank holiday. You can see some potential, but not much else! |
Description :
Another Right hand reef break that breaks outside of the South Pier of Seahouses Harbour. Fast, tubey, can handle large swells from almost all directions, but prone to an occasionally vicious rip that will tow you down to St Aidans beach (about half a mile North) if you catch it on the wrong tide. Also suffers from a back wash off the harbour wall at very high tides, so gewt in at about mid rising tide (if you think youre hard enough). Which i dont.
Directions :
Get to Seahouses (off the A1 at Alnwick) walk to the end of the pier, look to your right.
