Description :
Lovely Bay just south of Newquay, has a river mouth at the northly end.
Offers a lot of protection from winds due to step sided cliffs either side, but also picks up less swell.
Parking a nightmare unless you don't mind paddling accross the river at high tide.
Directions :
Just south of Newquay, head for the Pentire for easier parking but you've got to cross the river
